Sarah Gertler

Sarah Gertler is currently an assistant professor in the Barnard Economics department, and she received her PhD in Economics in May 2025 from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She studies implications of the open economy for domestic welfare. She is a Special Sworn Status researcher via the Census Bureau.
